Enjoy a unique shopping experience along the Minnesota River in downtown Granite Falls where you can stroll across the river on our famous Roebling footbridge! Visit the revolving artist displays and the Imagine Gift Shop at the K.K. Gallery managed by the Granite Area Arts Council, 807 Prentice St. Pick up a Prohibition Story Walking Tour Guide at the Chamber Office and make an appointment to visit the Andrew J. Volstead House Museum. Granite True Value has a large inventory of hardware, gifts, appliances and more, located at 150 9th Ave. You’re in for a treat at Carl’s Bakery where they also serve lunch items. Thrifty White Drug at 760 Prentice St. has a great gift selection as well as prescription and drug items. Across the street, Granite Floral and Greenhouse’s downtown location features fun gift items, flowers and plants. Next door is Korthuis Jewelry and Gifts, a long time business in Granite Falls. On the next block, stop into Heather’s Book Nook and Sew Much More for quilting and craft supplies, used books, handcrafted wooden items, electronics repair, gifts , greeting cards and stationery items. Granite Spirits in the back of the store features wine and beer making supplies along with expert advice on how to use them. A couple of doors down is Capone and Company featuring unique gifts and antiques from the Prohibition Era. The Dollar Stop with antiques upstairs at the Treasure Stop is a fun shopping experience at the north end of main street.
Continue on to our shopping area on busy Highway 212 but don’t forget to stop at Willie’s Korner Store, a Granite Falls institution located at 1197 Granite St. East on Hwy 212 browse the antiques selection at Prairie Mercantile where they also host occasional flea markets in the summer months. Our municipal liquor store, Riverside Bottle Shop, has a great selection of wine, beer and liquor. Granite Grinder and Gifts is a great place for lunch, a snack and fun clothing and gift shopping. The Rusty Nut has occasional sales during special occasions.
West on Hwy 212, stop at Casey’s General Store for gas, pizza and some great snacks. The Sawmill is Granite Falls’ source for lumber and building supplies. Dave’s Electric Motor Co. sells trailers, boat docks and features Milwaukee Tools. From the Ground Up Boutique in the log building at 735 Hwy 212 features women’s clothing, unique gifts, household decor, and landscaping plants in season. Almich’s Market is our hometown grocery store with a great selection, baked goods and take out deli meals.
